Ultrasound – US4000
Ultrasound pulses are used to examine the paranasal or frontal sinuses, with a single probe acting as both transmitter and receiver. Echoes are produced based on encountered structures, reflecting varying impedance. Healthy sinuses show minimal late echoes, while conditions like swelling or cysts generate distinct echoes, notably from the sinus wall. Ultrasound serves as a safe alternative to X-rays, especially for sensitive groups. The HOMOTH module offers advanced technology, with automatic adjustments and digital customization.
