Air Calorisator (Stand Alone)
Air-based caloric stimulation has gained increasing recognition due to its ease of use. Unlike water, air eliminates the need for collecting the medium after irrigation, as there is no residual liquid to manage. This method also offers the advantage of stimulating perforated eardrums. Additionally, air-based stimulation allows for patient positioning flexibility during the procedure. Using a removable earpiece made of skin-friendly rubber, a directed airflow is applied to the external auditory canal, minimizing the risk of ear canal damage through controlled heating.
